Mater Private Breast Unit provides professional personal service for people with breast cancer, and disorders and problems of the breast. The Breast Unit has been established to provide expert consultative clinical diagnosis and treatment for people of all ages.

  • Rapid accces to six private specialist surgeons.
  • Coordinated diagnostic screening.
  • Short waiting times. We have implemented a 'priority referral' system so you can usually see a surgeon within 36 hours of your call.
  • Flexible appointment schedules. We provide flexible appointment schedules to accommodate your lifestyle and can extend our hours by arrangement.
  • Contact with your referring GP. We maintain regular contact with your referring GP and provide suggestions on any additional medical requirements.

The Mater Private Breast Care provides an integrated service for the diagnosis, treatment and ongoing assessment of the breast, and breast conditions and disorders.
