Who is Scarebear?
Back in 1991 I was an apprentice book binder. I can actually bind a book by hand. Not too many people can say that I guess. Whilst going to college as an apprentice I earned a nickname. Apparently if you have long hair that you don't plait, a beard and ride a motorcycle you can end up looking like a hairy cartoon character named... Scarebear.
8 years later I discovered the world of skinning and discovered I needed a handle/username for the various skinning web sites I started to frequent. Nobody uses their real name! That just wouldn't be right. Not being too original, I went with a name I'd already been given. So online I began to use the name Scarebear. I even purchased the domain scarebear.org! I still own it and use it for e-mail. Who knows... I might build a site there again one day. I'm funny like that.
These days I'm slightly more creative and use several names. Sometimes even my own name to mix it up a bit
So if you managed to come here looking for Scarebear's skins you've come to the right place. If you came here looking for some free tutorials that some guy named Jason Brown wrote you've also come to the right place. If you've come here from somewhere else, looking for someone or something else again... Well, I hope this is the right place too
By the way, you can find out a little bit more about me in the section to the right. Gripping information! I am obviously cool.
